X3: Farnham’s Legacy – Rare Blueprint Collector Guide

What is this about?

You may already know, that at present (X3FL 1.3) it is not possible to unlock the achievement “Rare Blueprint Collector” and because of this the “Master Collector”.

It has been confirmed, that the achievement “Rare Blueprint Collector” currently requires the blueprint of the UFO. Thing is this is unobtainable through normal vanilla game play and is indeed a Bug. As much as I tried, I wasn’t able to get or circumvent this. Thanks to the help of another player the UFO-blueprint was added to my HQ in a still vanilla savefile.

This savefile I want to share. There is only one blueprint left that is needed for both achievements mentioned above. That is the ‘Kite Vanguard’ – an unbuyable Teladi M4+.

Sounds simple, 오른쪽? 잘, there are still some minor problems.

– to the first: That blueprint seems to be not on the list of offerings from the Explorer Guild (tried that many times).

– to the second: There seems to be at most two Kite Vanguards on active duty at any given time in my universe. Those that are spawned ingame appear to have always high moral (적어도 21 for those I checked). I tried to get those to bail oh so many many times – but could not. This apparently was caused by my ‘명예’ which for reasons unknown to me had dropped to -239.

… so you better bring back that honor-stat to neutral or positive values to have a chance.

물론, I also backed up the savefile where I had the ship in my possession and only needed to reengineer it. I will trade that savefile for any of your savefiles where ‘운동화’ 또는 ‘Duked’ are about to happen…
