Upon entering the village, turn to right and head to the house with an arch to its left. Go through the arch and jump from the wagon to nearby building’s roof, on the right from there you will the first tome.
Head to the Watermill on the west side of the map. Turn a lever off that controls the water flow and jump down to the mill. Wait for the mill to stop and go through the mill blades to a closed door.
When you reach a cliff overlooking the castle, pass under the stone archway and turn right to cross it from the top. At the end of the cliff there, between large rocks will be the second tome.
After crossing a hanging bridge, turn right to scale a ladder onto the wooden platforms. Climb a second ladder next to that and jump down to to the platform on your right.
Instead of going to the pit and through the camp on the left, take a path on the right and hop from the platform to the other side. After scaling a ladder once more, you will see a pair of pedestals. Turn to the right and climb a ladder, then run along the whirling stone path to the top of the hill.
Blood in the Darkness
In the caverns just before the hanging bridge, turn to the side and jump to a stone balcony. Turn right and head towards an open door in the end of the corridor.
After lowering the gate and surviving a rat offense there, ascend the stairs, but do NOT cross the bridge yet. Follow the corridor on the right and onto the angled planks. In the brick cabin will be the first grimoire.
Upon exiting to the surface, immediately turn to the right and enter a hallway under some wooden platforms. Jump down back to the underground corridors, there will be the next tome in a crate in the end of that path.
Get back to the yard and head to its end. Jump onto a crate under a wooden roof and the tome will be in a giant hole in that roof.
On the second floor of the Cursed Sanctum (where a body lies in the middle of the room), behind a bookshelf will be a hidden passage – jump into the hole there and follow the path until you enter a large room with a bunch of bookshelfs. The tome will be on the right on a table.
Enchanter’s Lair
After passing through the corridor covered in cobweb, turn right to press a button. This opens a passage in the hallway with cobweb in it. Backtrack behind and collect the tome next to a statue.
After passing by the blood fountain, continue through the hallways until you’re about to jump down to another arena, turn left and get to the gap in the stone walls. Jump across the gargoyle statue to a skeleton with a Key and grab it. Jump down and head to the locked chest on your right.
After blowing the path wide open with an explosive barrel, continue until you see an open door on your left. Head through the door into the wide room and grab the tome on a table in the back.
Before the next point of no return with a big pile of stone rubble, turn left and head into a small room marked by a skull. Jump onto debris lying around there to reach a pillar in the top right corner of that room and pick up keys there. Exit the room and head to the end of the hallway on your left, by the room. Continue through the Scriptorium until you reach the locked cells. Grimoire will be on a table in a room next to a level opening exit.
