Character Creation

• If you can afford to, become a partner at local businesses to generate passive income to help you get started (start with a restaurant to get free amazing meals!)
• Using Aura of Creativity as much as you can, Research Architectural Design at your home drafting table until you get painting level 10 and career level 10. I put my sim’s finished drawings on the walls of the studio to provide environment boosts.
• As soon as you can afford to, buy some good-quality basic items to keep your sim happy and productive (전- . a stereo for in your studio, 침대, 화장실, 샤워, fridge)

This step is pretty monotonous and repetitive, so I like to mix it up by:

• Meeting and befriending potential future clients (learn their traits faster by using the “get to know” interaction (under “friendly”)
• Working on the design of my sim’s studio and home to start building collections and palettes to use for future projects.
• Learning photography and take a trip to Egypt to buy the best camera (or learn sculpting)

Renovations

Before renovating:

• Discuss renovation with clients, learn their traits (if they are not home, you can complete the bare minimum then tell them you are done to make them come home. Just make sure you cancel the “tell client renovation is complete” action as soon as they get home then talk to them.)
• Take measurements of their home.
• Save your game just before beginning a renovation in case you mess up!

During Renovation:

• Add lots of decorative objects such as flowers, rugs, curtains, 나무, artwork, 등.
• Add handcrafted object(에스) such as photographs, 그림, sculptures
• Add personalized object(에스) such as photographs, 그림, or sculptures of the client
• Try to spend most of the budget unless the client is frugal. You can more easily blow through huge budgets by placing lots of expensive statues and paintings.
• If the renovation is for a specific room, make sure all the requested objects are inside that room

Cater to your client’s traits:

• Artistic – add artwork

• Loves the Outdoors – Increase Window Count
• Natural Cook – add Kitchen Appliances, Counters
• Party Animal – add Bars
• Snob – Use all of the budget, high-quality items
• Technophobe – Hates electronics
• Virtuoso – add Music items (기타, Stereo)
• Workaholic – add Desks

Don’ts:

• Delete their existing stuff to replace it with new stuff – just add new stuff
• Clutter up their home – leave plenty of space for accessing items and circulation
• Place things in a way that they can’t be used
• Leave walls unpainted
