Sunset Overdrive – Early Game Badge and Combo Farm

Boo-Boo Roverdrive Story Mission Spoilers

Around the middle point for the Boo-Boo mission, you need to collect a Cutie Kitty from some Scabs. Doing so will net you the Kitty Cannon. This weapon has unlimited ammunition for the remainder of the mission, and is last time you will get to use it (until maybe post-game I believe???).

The Kitty Cannon allows for the player to summon Boo-Boo, causing a big AoE attack. This works great for clearing massive hordes of OD, and garnering you some upgrades.

Before returning Boo-Boo to Sasquatch and his friends, you have an opportunity to use the unlimited ammo to your advantage. By farming OD you can quickly get some OverDrive upgrades, which will enhance your character’s strength.

Farm Location

The area you want can be found just before the Oxford’s base. Make sure not to get to close as it triggers the final event, and won’t allow you to farm.

Between the Sushi restaurant and staircase, there are two OD spawners. As long as you don’t get near the Oxford’s Base, you can endlessly grind the lines. Doing this will grant you some major combos. This could also be an effective method for reaching the Highest Combo Leader-board. My highest combo was around 850, however I’m sure one could reach 3,000+.

• To effectively rack up OD kills, I recommend grinding the lines shown in the images below. By continuing to go back and forth between these two locations, you’re allowing the OD spawners to work simultaneously.
