This guide is obviously out of date as you can tell from the title.

The reason I’m creating this page is that I wanted to compare old lore with the new one, writing-wise. When the devs announced that they will likely do some “cleaning up” with the journals, alarms began wailing in my cranium so I swiftly captured all I can before the update hits the nets.

Raft is quite clearly not a lore-heavy game, the main story can be safely ignored. 하지만, I loved the obscurity and uncertainty of the old writing style and thought it fit the survival theme of the game better. Whatever little bit of lore the game had in the first place, it felt crucial to the general experience. My personal opinion is that it was doing a better job than the revamped story we have now.
