Space Combat Tips
- When low on resources, prioritize salvaging. Instead of respawning, selling equipment, and exiting, focus on finding blinking red containers in wreckage. Collect their contents before leaving, as it can be more efficient.
- If you’re not opting for the Rustbucket ship, consider using a Breacher Scout. Scout-frame ships, including Rustbucket, are currently the most effective options. Among them, the Flak 38 gun provides superior ship-to-ship combat capabilities. The Cruiser Scout (로켓) and Light Scout (25mm) are decent alternatives, while other options are less recommended. In ship battles, survival is often dependent on speedtanking and evasive maneuvers to avoid enemy fire.
- Winning Space Combat can be highly profitable, even if you only engage other Marauders until they reach the exit gate. By deterring opponents early on, you reduce competition for loot within raid locations, making it easier to secure valuable items.
- To gain an advantage in space battles, consider using your escape pod strategically to breach enemy ships. Escape pods are surprisingly sturdy and, with proper use of boost, can be difficult to intercept before reaching the target. Choose maps with orange skyboxes for this tactic, as the bright background minimizes the glow emitted by the pods. Remember that the glow can be visible even without direct line-of-sight, so hiding behind asteroids won’t necessarily conceal your approach.
- In the event of being breached, be aware of the four possible entry points on a Scout layout: two in the habitation wings and two in the back stairwell near the engine. If breachers enter through the former, they are likely to rush or confront you at the front stairs. If they enter through the latter, they will often avoid crossing the engine room and head upstairs behind the Salvage elevator. Immediately vacate the helm once breached, moving away from the cockpit area to minimize their knowledge of your location while gaining a better understanding of theirs.
- The Red Baron AI behaves like an old man on his porch with a shotgun. Feel free to drop medical items during raids to make space for better loot, but avoid going in with too few of them.
- China Lakes are considered the best guns in the game and can help you defeat fully geared teams, even if they possess superior skills. Prioritize picking them up over any other available options if you come across them, as they can be highly advantageous when combined with a few stacks of 40mm grenades.
- Consider prestiging once. The initial prestige rewards you with 3 Prestige points, which can be used to expand your stash by four extra rows. 하지만, subsequent prestiges offer diminishing returns, so it’s generally not as beneficial to prestige multiple times.

Medic bags and the medic room on the cruiser can also provide an easy source of medical supplies.
- When unable to complete a trade due to insufficient space, try reorganizing your containers. The game’s current mechanics do not automatically optimize market trades to fit the available space, so manually arranging them can resolve the lack of stash space error.
- If you find yourself completely out of space, consider purchasing a capital ship, preferably the Central Empire Dreadnought, as it doesn’t produce a loud horn sound when activated in the hangar. Capital ships provide enough space to store three STG-44s, one of the largest weapons in the game. Acquiring a capital ship can alleviate the need for meticulous item arrangement when you have excess funds but limited space.
