Doki Doki Literature Club Fun Facts

• Doki Doki Literature Club was created by Dan Salvato.
• DDLC was made known to come out on September 8th, 2017, not even a month before the release. The game was up and running on September 22nd, 2017, and was completely launched on the 2nd of October.
• DDLC will break your heart, you have been fair warned.

Special Ending Tips

• This ending can only be seen if players see all NINE of the CGs (event images) of the three girls in Act 1. There are three pictures for each girl. As well as Monika’s CG in Act 3.
• You MUST save at the first poem, to revert back to after going down every character route. To collect Sayori’s CG Hug, you have to say you love her.
• If you copy saves, paste back into the game, or move girls to a different folder – it will result in Monika asking if you are cheating the game.
• The game can be continued normally after.
• Once you have reached Monika by herself, it is safe to delete her .chr file, located in the characters folder.
• You would be completing the game normally in this play-through, but the images will not be deleted.
• The game files will be deleted still, and the player must delete the first run file.

File Work Secrets

File Work – 비ase 64 is used often for decoding files in DDLC – Base64 is a group of similar binary-to-text encoding schemes that represent binary data in an ASCII string format by translating it into a radix-64 representation.

Yuri’s file – Base64 text. – Decoding will give you a story

Monika’s File – rename it to a .png file (monika.png) – Square is then translated into binary, the result is a Base64 string that can be translated yet again into:

It is a vigenère cipher that, when decoded with the key “libitina”, will give a Base64 text. When decoded it results in the following text: What is a man without knowing the rich aroma of the future; the hot, complex balance of the present; and the bittersweet aftertaste of the past?
• A Base64 – Open Your Third Eye – Results in the following few sentences: I can feel the tenderness of her skin through the knife, as if it were an extension of my sense of touch. My body nearly convulses. There’s something incredibly faint, deep down, that screams to resist this uncontrollable pleasure. But I can already tell that I’m being pushed over the edge. I can’t… I can’t stop myself.
• Yuri’s Poem w/ Blood Decoded – Fresh blood seeps through the line parting her skin and slowly colors her breast red. I begin to hyperventilate as my compulsion grows. The images won’t go away. Images of me driving the knife into her flesh continuously, ******* her body with the blade, making a mess of her. My head starts going crazy as my thoughts start to return. Shooting pain assaults my mind along with my thoughts. This is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. How could I ever let myself think these things? 하지만 그것은’s unmistakable. • If you press Alt-F4 will cause a distorted message. An image of Sayori glitching will pop up: If you press YES the game will close if you press NO you are thrown into Act 2. This only happens once so you cannot try to do it again.
