How to start fishing

To start your epic fishing adventure, you’ll need to equip a fishing rod in your main hand slot. 내 말은, unless you plan on catching fish with your bare hands like a caveman. You can buy a fishing rod from the Myr Fishmonger in Myr or Pole Fisher at Crossings’ 시장. And if you want to get fancy, you can also buy bait from these vendors. Just make sure you don’t accidentally try to fish with the bait instead of the rod – it won’t end well.

• 장비: There are two types of rods available. 그만큼 casting fishing rod is the best choice, as it provides a longer casting range that allows you to fish in distant fishing areas. When you obtain a fishing rod, 너는 잠금을 해제할 것이다 어업 기능, which you can memorise from your 스킬북 to add it to your avaible skills.

• 미끼: In order to attract fish, you’ll need to load your fishing rod with soil worms. These worms can be obtained from vendors in Myr, Bat Saha, and Crossings’ 시장, or from fishermen who will appear randomly near rivers and oceans. 하지만, you can also find worms during your travels as they appear as small patches of soil containing a single worm each. Without bait, you won’t catch any fish, only trash. To load the bait, select the worms in your inventory and drag them to the bait slot on your fishing rod.

• 어업: Once you have equipped your fishing rod and loaded the bait, approach the fishing area. Use your skill card and click on the water. If you are trying to fish further away, a mini-game will appear. Keep in mind that if your fishing skill is low, it’s possible for the fish to escape more often. The higher your fishing skill, the better your chances of catching valuable fish.

• Areas: The types of fish you can catch depend on the type of water (강, 대양, lake) and part of the world where they occur. Fishing areas are indicated by small fish jumping out of the water and a distinctive sound effect. Outside of fishing areas, you will mostly catch trash. Fishing areas are now stocked with specific fish that deplete as you catch them, but regenerate over time.

• 날씨: The weather affects fishing. When it rains, fishing is faster and more productive.
