Let’s assume you’re in the crash zone when you hear a loud roar. Unlike the other roars you tend to hear, this one is louder, sharp, and clear. Before you can turn around, a Reaper Leviathanlatches onto your Seamoth, dealing massive amounts of damage in the process. This guide will cover what to do in such scenarios.

Leviathan Survival Guide

まず始めに, Reaper Leviathans use their roars as echolocation to see what’s around them. So if you can hear their roars, they can see you. Reaper leviathans also like to circle their prey before attacking, often trying to attack from behind.

But because you hear a distant roar, doesn’t mean you have to flee from the scene immediately. You can stay where you are while also not going closer to the area you heard the roar come from. If you have sonar, you should probably use it to see where it is precisely, but be aware that Reapers are attracted to sound.
