What is the Oujia Board?

– The Oujia Board is apart of the 6 cursed possessions that spawn in every contract. があります 1/6 chance to have the board spawn in your contract.

– You can ask the board questions, and the ghost will move the chip on the board to answer the question.

– Using the board will decrease your sanity based on how helpful the question is.

– The board has a chance to spawn in every map.

– Since it is a cursed possession, take a picture of it for some extra cash.

– You can take the board outside of the investigation area, but it will be unusable.

What questions can you ask?

Location QuestionsThese questions drain %40 of your sanity

When you ask any of these questions, the ghost will return to you its exact location, which is likely going to be the ghost room.

• Where are you?
• What is your favorite room?
• What is your room?
• Where is your room?

The following questions will only tell you if you are in the ghost room, so not useful in a map like Asylum, but only drain %20 正気.

• Are you here?
• Are you close?

Bone QuestionThis question will drain %20 of your sanity

This question will return to you the exact room of the bone.

• Where is the bone?

Sanity QuestionsThese questions drain %5 of your sanity

Asking these questions will return to you a range of how sane or insane you are. This is especially helpful on Nightmare mode.

• What is my sanity?

The ghost will respond with:

• Healthy if your sanity is above %80
• Good if your sanity is between %60 と %80
• Average if your sanity is between %40 と %59
• Bad if your sanity is between %20 と %39
• Awful if your sanity is below %20

• The ghost will respond with:
• Not Very if your sanity is above %50
• Very if your sanity is between %25 と %50

• Yes if your sanity is below %20

Age QuestionsThese questions drain %5 正気

These questions are not helpful in your investigation unless you are trying to spark EMF 5. The ghost will use the numbers on the board to respond to you.

• How old are you?
• Are you old?
• Are you young?
• What is your age?

Death QuestionsThese questions drain %5 正気

These are a lot like the age questions, the ghost will use the numbers to respond to you.

• How long have you been dead?
• When did you die?
• How long ago did you die?
• How many years ago did you die?
• How long have you been here?

Shyness QuestionThis question will drain your sanity by %20

This question will tell you if the ghost only respond to one or two people instead of everyone while using the spirit box.

• Do you respond to everyone?

Presence QuestionsThese questions drain sanity by %20

These questions will return to you the number of people in the ghost room, including the ghost.

• How many are in this room?
• How many people are present?
• How many people are in this room?
• How many people are here?
• Who is in this room
• Who is here
• Are we alone?
• Are you alone

These questions are great for trying to find the twins

• How many ghosts are here?
• How many ghosts are in this room?
• How many ghosts are present?

Death QuestionThis question will drain your sanity by %5

The ghost will tell you how it died

• How did you die?

Purpose QuestionThis will drain your sanity by %5

This question will tell you why the ghost is here.

• なぜここにいるのですか?

Feeling QuestionsThis will drain your sanity by %5

These will tell you how the ghost is feeling (当然です)

• How do you feel?
• Are you OK?

Yes/No QuestionsThese questions will drain your sanity by %5

The ghost will use the Yes or No text to answer your question.

• Am I pretty?
• Are we friends?
• Do you hate me?
• Do you like jazz?
• Do you like pizza?

You can abuse this system a bit by trying to make your own questions.

These are not questions, but if you feel like torturing your friends and having a bit of fun, 頑張れ.

今, what my friends told me is that if I say it, it will tell us where it is and we have to go find it. When we find it, it will start a hunt. That is not true. It will count down from 5, then explode and start a cursed hunt. You better run for your life.

• You have to say “さようなら” before walking away or it will explode and start a cursed hunt.
• If you think that you have the twins on a map that has a board, go into the ghost room and ask “How many ghosts are here?”
• If you think it’s a Thaye and you have a board, ask it it’s age, wait a few minutes, then ask again. If it goes up, it’s a Thaye – Credit to my friend Yunoji for pointing this out
