I have a great fondness for the Kingdom series and I’m pleased to see that the achievement list for this new installment isn’t overly challenging. The most difficult achievements will be completing the game within 50 days and finishing the game on cursed difficulty. I would recommend playing through the game at least twice to tackle these two achievements.

How to Approach Kingdom Eighties

You have the freedom to choose your own path in completing Kingdom Eighties, and you may already be playing the game and seeking specific achievements. しかし, for those who would like some guidance, I suggest starting by playing a section of level 1 on peaceful difficulty. This will unlock the only achievement that can be obtained on the peaceful difficulty and give you a sense of the game and its differences compared to earlier entries in the series.

次, I recommend starting a new save file on cursed difficulty. This can be quite challenging, but I managed to complete it on my first playthrough. If things go terribly wrong, don’t hesitate to purposely lose your crown in order to load your previous save or start from scratch on that level. This playthrough is where you should aim to unlock most of the achievements since you won’t have much time for them in the speedrun.

After finishing the cursed difficulty, start another new save file and this time play on easy difficulty to complete the game within 50 日. This means you’ll have just a little over 3 hours to finish the game. Focus only on the main objective of each level and try to leave each level with a full coin pouch.

Have the huge robot (the one that helps you with destroying portals) perfectly lined up with the gift. Then you can pay for the cake a second time to unwrap the gift. The enter it and throw coins, or slap coins from the truck…

Complete a level with only two workers

This can’t be done on the first level, as you need 3 workers to remove the canoe from the cave. I did this on level 2, just never make any hammers.

It’s Not a Wishing Well

When your coin purse is full and you receive new coins, they will fall into the water. You won’t have to grind for this achievement as it is bound to pop while working your way through the other achievements.

Lose the Crown, and take it back

Get hit by The Greed while having no coins, then quickly pick up the crown again.

Stubborn
生き残る 50 days in one level

I did this in the first area after destroying the cave, as it seems then there don’t arrive any enemies, even with portals on the other side of the map left. Each day takes 4 分, so this means you’ll spend a little under 3,5h on an island. It pops at the start of day 51 on that island.

孤独者
Complete a level with no more than 20 kids

I got this when I just beat the last portal on the right of the second area, barely made it, and lost a lot of kids. So I guess the number of kids lost made it under 20 available at the moment of beating the stage. This might easiest be done on the first level, just doesn’t require many.

Saw Boss
Clear all the trees on any level

Easiest on the first level but can be done on any level.

Complete the game on Hard

The difficulties stack, so if you completed the game on the cursed difficulty, this one unlocks as well.

This achievement I’ll try to write out tomorrow. It isn’t that hard, especially when playing on easy but I have heard others doing on it normal and hard difficulty as well.
