Method to save your runes and leave unwanted boss fights in Elden Ring.

You can use the Pureblood Knight’s Medal tool (which teleports you to Mohgwyn Palace) whilst in combat/boss arenas unlike the normal fast travel method (which is disabled).
This essentially works like a budget Homeward Bone from the Dark Souls series but instead it will take you to Mohgwyn Palace (so then just teleport wherever else you want to go from there).
As this item is reusable you can do this as many times as you want and wherever, as long as you are in an area that allows teleporting (being in combat is fine but caves/dungeons etc still will not work)
Obtaining the Pureblood Knight’s Medal
It is very quick and easy to obtain the Pureblood Knight’s Medal you just have to do a few steps of White-Faced Varre’s quest. You will have to have beaten Godrick the Grafted and you will need to be online as 3 invasions are required.
TLDR: White-Faced Varre will give you this item once you have completed the 3 invasions required for his questline to advance (it doesnt matter if you win or lose the invasions). He will give you the Medal after the reusable Bloody Finger, exhausting his dialogue is necessary.
Step by step guide:
- He will be the very first NPC you speak to at the beginning of the game. Found in Limgrave, by The First Step Site of Grace. (の “Maidenless” meme guy) [see pic below if needed]
- After defeating Godrick the Grafted, or obtaining any of the Great Runes, going back and talking to Varre, and visiting the Roundtable Hold for the first time, White Mask Varré can then be found at Rose Church, in a large island southwest of Liurnia.
- Awards you the Festering Bloody Finger upon meeting him the second time at Rose Church.
- Upon invading players using the Festering Bloody Finger three times (注記: using Recusant Finger will NOT work), he’ll ask you to join his order with the Bloody Lord. (it doesnt matter if you win or lose the invasions). If you agree, he will give you the Lord of Blood’s Favor item, requesting you soak it in the blood of a maiden.
- Your options for which Maiden are: a Maiden corpse in the Church of Inhibition, north east of Liurnia (closest option to Rose church). The corpse at Chapel of Anticipation if you’ve unlocked the second belfry at the The Four Belfries. Or to kill Irina, who is easiest to reach when she is at the entrance of the weeping peninsula. I’d suggest the first option listed but any will do the job.
- Once you return with the blood-soaked Favor, he rewards with a reusable Bloody Finger. If you speak with him again, you will receive the Pureblood Knight’s Medal which when used takes you to Mohgwyn’s palace
