Branching Paths & 新しいゲーム+

There are three major choices you will make in this game that will lock some party members from being recruited on the current playthrough.

Branch 1: Travelling with Kid
受け入れる: Kid.
Reject: Leena, Kid.
可用性: Shortly after traveling to the other world for the first time.

Branch 2: Choosing a guide.
Guile.
ピエール.
Nikki.
可用性: After talking to the man polishing the statue, where Kid would once more ask to join the party if you did not recruit her during the first branch.

Branch 3: Save Kid or Leave Kid Alone.
Save Kid: Orcha, Razzly, Mel.
Leave Kid Alone: グレン, Macha, doc.

The real question you should be asking yourself is why this matters? 分かりますか, towards the end of each playthrough of this game you will be able to call back all allies you have recruited from previous playthroughs, which is the only way in which you can recruit ALL party members due to the branches above.

Managing to recruit all party members will give you a very special reward, but more on that someday.

Arni Village

可用性: After the starting dungeon.

• パーティー (Serge): You start the game as Serge.
• 要件 (Poshul): Get Heckran Bone from under the bed of the restaurant to the right of your house.
• パーティー (Poshul): Give Poshul the Heckran Bone.
  ノート: When you have to “与える” an item this is done with a different button from the one used for dialogue, xを押します (Xbox) to open the item list and select the item you want.
• 要件 (Mojoy): Get Shark Tooth from the basement of the house to the left of the restaurant.

Opassa Beach

可用性: After defeating Mama Komodo.

• 技術: When talking to Leena choose “I Remember” その後 “We’ll never forget this day”.

Another’s Cape Howl – Branch 1

Branch 1 – Travelling with Kid

可用性: When visiting the other Cape Howl for the first time.

Reject

Refuse three times by choosing “拒否する”, “……” と “結構です”

• パーティー (Leena): Leena joins your party shortly after in Another’s Arni Village.
• パーティー (Kid): Kid joins your party eventually.

ノート: はい, there is no point in accepting Kid other than the extra dialogue and earning some boss stars I guess.

Another’s Arni Village

可用性: Shortly after the events in Another’s Cape Howl.

• Branch Party (Leena): Leena joins your party shortly after in Another’s Arni Village.
• パーティー (Mojo): Go to the room where you got the Shark Tooth and show it to the Fisherman then attempt to leave.

Another’s Hydra Marshes

可用性: As soon as you leave Another’s Arni Village.

• 要件 (NeoFio & Skelly): Get the Safety Gear from the Captain.

Another’s Fossil Valley

可用性: As soon as you leave Another’s Arni Village.

• 要件 (Skelly): Tell the man by the ladder you are exorcists then agree to help the Skeleton Head to get the Heavy Skull.
• 要件 (Draggy): Steal the Big Egg by taking the path downstairs to the Southwest of where you agreed to help Skelly, ignore the soldier’s warnings when going down.

Another’s Termina – Branch 2

可用性: After passing through Another’s Fossil Valley.

• Branch Party (Kid): Talk to the man polishing the statue after Kid leaves, she will come back for you to finally accept her into the party.

Branch 2 – Choosing a guide

可用性: After talking to the man polishing the statue, where Kid would once more ask to join the party if you did not recruit her during the first branch.

Guile

• パーティー (Guile): Talk to him inside the bar and ask for his help.

ピエール

• アイテム (Hero’s Medal): When starting the second Branch talk to the Blacksmith (Zappa) in his workshop, then to the Mysterious Swordsman (ピエール) on the room below, then talk to the kid running around just outside the Smithy’s workshop. Go back to Pierre and return his Medal, then accept to go with him.
• パーティー (ピエール): Give Pierre the Hero’s Medal.

Nikki

• パーティー (Nikki): Enter the large ship on the west of Termina and talk to the man in the first room you can enter, then accept Miki’s offer. Leave Termina and enter the Shadow Forest to the east, then find and follow a man trying to play music to a monster, after a fight, he will go inside a cave behind a waterfall. Once you talk to him inside the cave your consent is no longer relevant.

ノート: はい, this branch having three choices is the only reason you need to do an entire third playthrough.

Another’s Shadow Forest

可用性: This will depend on the choice you made on the second branch.

If you chose Nikki then you have already accessed this area.

If you chose anyone else this area will be accessible after the events in Viper Manor.

• 要件 (Skelly): Go to the cave behind the waterfall and examine the letter, then pick up the Angry Scapula.

Viper Manor – Branch 3

• 要件 (Pip and Luccia): Past the two guards to the right where you are dropped, interact with the necklace to be dropped on a cage. After a fight interact with Pip and open his cage then talk to Luccia on your way out.
• 要件 (Skelly): After the Branch choice talk to the Element Trader NPC and leave after you can choose the Trade option, accept the Pelvic Bone piece.
• キーアイテム: To the left of the Element Trader you will see a scene between Orlha and Doc, return to the bar after speaking with Direa and Steena and interact with the dwarf in the back to receive the Green Tinkler.

Branch 3 – Saving Kid

可用性:

Save Kid

• Talk to Korcha.

• パーティー (Razzly)
• パーティー (Mel)
• パーティー (Kid)

Leave Kid Alone

Talk to Macha.

• パーティー (Macha)

ノート: また, it matters very little what you choose in terms of Kid being with you.
