I wish this guide can assist anyone who got stuck on this. If you couldn’t beat this boss initially, don’t stress because many people faced the same issue. I also got annoyed by this boss, and that’s why I want to aid anyone else. This boss penalizes those who try to play slowly and carefully (unlike the rest of the chapter) なぜなら, after a while, the boss will summon a constant flow of Wendigos, and you’ll have a really tough time.

With this plan, we’re going to defeat the boss before it even reaches that stage.

Item Recommendations

I’m going to share only the items I believe are super important for beating this boss. You can bring other things, but make sure you have most of these:

• The Hermit Stick
• Decapitator
• Living Vines
• Orb of Night

The first three can be found in the wild. Look up another guide for their locations—it won’t take long. You can buy the Orb of Night from Jim. A regular revolver works too, but Orb of Night is a very good weapon and will be handy in chapter 2, so you might as well get it.

Bring as many as you think you’ll need.

How to Reach the Boss

The simplest way to reach the canyon is by using a chicken head to teleport directly to the canyon bed. あるいは, you can take the fastest and easiest route by walking through the fort, descending through the trapdoor, and proceeding to the bed in the usual manner.

Upon reaching the canyon, you’ll encounter some annoying mobs. If you have the Hermit Stick, you’ve likely already dealt with them. そうでない場合, handle them as you normally would, drawing on your past experience.

Once past the door, there won’t be any more enemies until later, so feel free to scavenge for loot. You’ll find health potions and other valuable items.

Upon reaching the middle area, your screen will darken and blur, resembling the proximity to a cursed artifact. Head left and jump down a small hole to enter the stealthy section. Exercise extreme caution here, as there are many monsters that can pose a threat. Make sure you have health potions in case you need them.

While navigating the stealth path, ensure to destroy the red cysts. Though the exact number is uncertain, eliminating them should leave the boss’s health slightly below half by the end.

Note that the last room with the Wendigo and the raven skull contains two cysts. One of them is on the ceiling, so be thorough in dealing with both.

How to Beat the Boss

After handling the Wendigo and eliminating all the cysts, the teleporter will transport you to the boss room. Utilize this quiet moment to heal and equip both shotguns, ensuring they’re loaded with gold ammo.

Activate the teleporter. Upon appearing in the boss room, immediately sprint towards the boss, disregarding the spikes as they only deal around 15 ダメージ.

Once in close proximity, wait for the boss to open its shell, revealing the red flesh. Unleash your gold ammo, firing away at the vulnerable area.

If you’ve dealt with all the cysts and armed yourself with the unique shotguns using gold ammo, you should be able to defeat the boss in just 4 に 5 ヒット.
