Some traits in Hunt aren’t always described perfectly, and some could use a tip or two to help make better use of them, so here are a lot of helpful tips about some of the more vague traits in Hunt. This guide is short and sweet, and I hope I helped make some of the traits more understandable. All of these traits do as their description describes, donc j'ai gagné’t clarify any of them besides one of them. To find out what weapons can be used with any of these traits, you just have to go into Arsenal > Weapons and type them into the search bar. It will show you all weapons the trait can be used with.
Trait Description for Bulletgrubber: Recover unfired rounds when performing partial reloads.
Although it only says round (singulier) it will recover any amount of rounds that would normally be lost.
Conduit
Trait Description: Get a health or stamina boost when picking up a Clue, Rift or Bounty token.
It is probably obvious to most people, mais si tu’re in full health, toi’ll gain a 5-minute stamina boost that is identical to the weak stamina shots. Si vous êtes’t in full health, pourtant, toi’ll instead be healed 75 santé, similar to a weak vitality shot. Unless you desperately need that healing, you should always use Conduit at maximum health.
Goule
Trait Description: Killing monsters restores a small amount of health.
Ce n'est pas le cas’t say anywhere, but Ghoul heals for 5 santé. To some people, ça ne marche pas’t sound good. Chasseurs, en comparaison 150 santé, but it can let you regenerate a health bar without needing a first aid kit. Ce n'est pas le cas’t work for burned health bars, cependant.
Serpent/Necromancer
Trait Description for Serpent: Using Dark Sight, interact with nearby Clues, Rifts, Banishable Targets, and abandoned Bounty from a safe distance. (25m)
Trait Description for Necromancer: Using Dark Sight, revive a downed partner from a distance, though at the cost of a small amount of health. (25m)
I put these two traits together because they’re very similar in how they work. Both aren’t instant and take several seconds to be used, and Necromancer takes 25 santé, which is enough to remove a small bar temporarily. Sinon, they act the same way as you interacted/revived normally.
Mithridatist
Trait Description: Drastically reduces the time needed to recover from poisoning.
Without this trait, poison can take several seconds to go away normally, even more so if you have medium or intense poisoning, but with Mithridatist, the poison goes away in roughly 3 secondes, regardless of how intense the poison is.
Gator Legs
Trait Description: Walk and sprint faster in deep water. Aussi, make less noise while crouched in water.
The amount of noise you make is almost the same as if you were crouching on land. This also affects any amount of water you’je suis dedans, not just deep water.
Whispersmith
Trait Description: Reduces noise when selecting equipment.
je l'ai fait’t think this applied to weapons, mais c'est le cas, as well as tools and consumables. It is almost completely silent as well.
Silent Killer
Trait Description: Reduces the sound you make when performing melee attacks.
This only effects your Hunter and his weapon, monsters will still make the same noise they would normally make. It effects the grunts your Hunter makes, and every melee attack, not just melee weapons.
Vigilant
Trait Description: Nearby traps and active Stalker Beetles are highlighted in Dark Sight. Also applies to Beetle view. (25m)
This works through walls, and is extremely effective aswell.
Braconnier
Trait Description: Place and disarm traps quietly.
C'est’t completely silent, and can still be heard, but is still MUCH more quiet than normal.
Poison Sense
Trait Description: You can see nearby poisoned Hunters while in Dark Sight. Also applies to Beetle view. (150m)
Poison Sense has the same range as the buffed Dark Sight you get from a Bounty Token. Poisoned Enemy Hunters also don’t move as erratically as they do when you see them via the buffed Dark Sight, and are a pale white/grey.
