FvF might be a silly casual FPS game, but it still sucks to get stomped, surtout si tu’re not sure why you’ve lost to begin with. So here are some basic tips to help you even the playing field. Remember that even if you’re a sub-par FPS player, the game is giving you all the tools to compensate in form of cards. It just takes a little bit of ingenuity.

1. introduction

Maintenant, the game is clearly a shooter at it’score, and having a good FPS fundementals will carry you a long way. toutefois, si tu’re smart with the cards you’ve were dealt, and if you pay attention to the pletohora of information the game gives you, you can still find a lot of success even if your aim is a bit shaky.

This short guide will mostly focus on cards aspect of the gameplay and how to use and abuse them to score some wins.

2. Learn the Cards

Spécifiquement, learn to identify the cards by their artwork at a glance.

Game can be quite hectic, and often you will see your top of the screen looking something like this:

Il’s essential that in the middle of the chaos, you can take a quick look and instantly recognize what cards have been played because it will affect how you approach the situation. Vous le feriez’t want to chase an enemy around the corner if he just grabbed a Shotgun now would you?

3. Bulletin de pont

This is what you want to see at the end of your deck list. Minimum amount of cards at maximum total cost. The less cards you have the more chances of drawing every individual powerful card, and higher the cost the stronger cards generally are so it’s a perfect combo to go for. When it comes to selecting the cards you want to use, its best to keep it simple. Give every card you get a try and pick the ones that feel the most impactful by themselves. You will likely end up with a simple to use but effective deck consisting of few weapons, bunch of buffs and debuffs, couple of grenades and maybe a joke card thrown in.

In just few hours of gameplay you should enough cards for a solid deck that will serve you well. Encore, simple is best and most starter and common cards fit in that category nicely.

4. Card Economy

You only draw a certain number of cards at the beginning of each round, et ça’s important to manage this steady flow of resources.

If you use all your cards in the first round and score a victory, it will leave you at big disatvantage in the next round unless the enemy did the same. You will be forced to save your cards or fight back with now limited resources (which will again leave you in a difficult position next round even if you win).

Remember that your goal is to win 3 rounds out of 5, enfiler’t get tunnel visioned into spending all your resources on winning a single round. Unless it’s the last round of course.

5. Patience and Counters

Laisser’s say you have Casque which lowers headshot damage. Using it at the start of the round isn’t the worst idea because it still provides value by forcing enemies to go for body shots which do less damage. But why not instead wait until combat starts in case enemy uses Big Head. Now you get even more value because in addition to forcing enemy to bodyshot you, you also made them waste a valuable card.

There are plenty of examples like this very with just some patience you can get additional value out of your cards. Mais ne’t try to over-do it because you will end up not using your cards at all by waiting for perfect chance which might never come.

6. Combinaisons

When it comes to combos, ils’re easiest to draw and execute when you’re coordinated with a friend in 2v2 matches. A basic example would be using Mind Blowing in combination with Bullet Time. Add a Sniper to the equation and it’s even more devastating.

Bien sûr, you can also do that combo in 1v1 but you’re not nearly as likely to draw it. When it comes to combos in 1v1, your best bet is trying to combine cards with your characters Personality card. For example Myk Raver starts with an SMG with high fire rate so it makes sense to add cards like Move Faster et Big Mag to the deck.

Il’s worth noting, just because combos are harder to draw in 1v1 games, ce n'est pas le cas’t mean that you shouldn’t put said cards in the deck. The cards still provide value, they just might be more situational and harder to use without their combo counterpart.

7. Repérage

Whenever a character gets damaged, the damage number is displayed for enemy to see revealing their position. That means we can (ab)use cards that damage enemies directly to pin-point their location. Health Down will reveal enemies position for a moment, while a card like Posion which deals damage over time will do the same job much more effectively. Use these at an appropriate time to get the most value out of them. To catch an invisible enemy, or to interecpt a flank.

8. React Faster

Scrolling through cards before using them can feel clunky, especially if you have a bunch in your hand. And its even worse if a situation comes up where you have to react quickly.

Donc, remember to use these inputs:

[1]– select most left card

[2]– select middle card

[3]– select most right card

You will still have to scroll but this speeds up the process and will probably save your life a bunch of times. It initially might feel even clunkier to use than the scroll wheel but the quicker you get used to it the better.

9. Supplémentaire

Who thought it was a good idea to give Alias « Big L » to the weakest character in the game. That was just uncalled for.

Poor Lars didn’t deserve this, stay strong brother…
