These paintings act as treasure hunts, where you will be rewarded for completing them. On this page, you will find the locations of each of the paintings, as well as the solutions and rewards for them, there are seven in total, and the places you need to go to complete the mysteries.
Homing Instinct
Emplacement: Artiste’s Shack in Limgrave. This painting is on the east side of the long canyon that runs north from Lake Agheel, just northeast of where you can use a Spiritspring jump to get out of the canyon and into East Limgrave, where you will find an isolated shack.
Solution: Head to the Seaside Ruins and head northwest to the Cave of Knowledge. There is a graveyard next to an archway, where the ghost will spawn.
Récompense: Spell Scarab Helm.
Prophétie
Emplacement: The building just before Liftside’la chambre (à gauche) in Stormveil Castle, below the chapel guarded by an omen at the end of the large courtyard.
Solution: Pour ça, you will need to go to the Church of Pilgrimage on the Weeping Peninsula. Head north from the church, to the very tip of the cliff, looking at the waterfall. À mesure que vous approchez, a ghost on a chair should become visible.
Récompense: When you reach them, they will disappear leaving you to drop an item to collect. This will be the Warhawk Ashes.
Résurrection
Emplacement: Artiste’s Shack in East Liurnia, past the Carian Study Hall at the Divine Tower of Liurnia along the main road, and guarded by a Leyndell Knight.
Solution: Head to the Three Sisters in the northern part of Liurnia and go south from the Site of Grace Behind Caria Manor. Find the graveyard and you will see the ghost on the chair pointing to Raya Lucaria Academy.
Récompense: Juvenile Scholar’tenue, Larval Tear.
Redmane
Emplacement: In the center of Sellia, City of Witchcraft. From the Sellia Under-Stair Site of Grace, monter les escaliers, Tournez à droite, then look at the rubble on the left (facing east). The painting is hidden under the arches.
Solution: Northeast of Fort Faroth, there is a cliff with many pots near the Minor Erdtree.Find the one that is on the V-shaped ledge and drop it down on the tree branch below it. I recommend you follow it to right and step down onto the broken pillar. Jump down and traverse the pillar to the NW and then onto the tree branch below. As you move towards the edge of the ledge, you should see the spirit looking towards Redmane Castle near a fallen Golem and incredibly dangerous that it won’t wake up until you approach it.
Récompense: Ash of War – Rain of Arrows.
Flightless Bird
Emplacement: in the fortified manor, first floor where the site of the grace in Leyndell is located.
Solution: From the Grace site of Windmill Heights, at the very northern end of Windmill Village.Head south, towards the edge of the cliff and past the small hut. À mesure que vous approchez, the ghostly figure will appear.
Récompense: Fire Mortal Sin Spell.
Champion’la chanson
Emplacement: In the Shaded Castle. From the Shaded Castle Ramparts Site of Grace (which is southeast of the castle), go northeast until you see a broken wall and a slope that leads down into a poison pit. There is up a flight of wooden stairs here, next to the broken wall on the left. The painting is at the top of the flight of stairs, au nord.
Solution: In Altus Plateau, go to the Rampartside Path Site of Grace. Just southwest and behind the Site of Grace, there is a cliff. Climb up here (where the ancient dragon Lansseax will appear) and look towards the northwest (you should be able to see the holy hero’la tombe). Walk to the edge of the cliff and the ghostly painter will appear.
Récompense: Harp Bow.
Sorcier
Emplacement: Castle Sol on the Mountaintops of the Giants. This painting is in the center of the castle. From the Main Gate of the Castle Sol Sito della Grazia, enter the castle and go left, through the barricades. Go right and enter the first room on your left, with all the snails. Go up the ladder and follow the path southwest, being careful of the enemies and the ballista. Take the bridge to the east, where the second ballista is and once you’ve dealt with them, go down the ladder and the painting is in this room.
Solution: In Mountaintops of the Giants you want to find the bridge east of the Shack of the Lofty and northwest of Stargazer’les ruines. The ghostly figure will be on the protruding part of the bridge, facing east.
