Duke of Alpha is a really easy game. There are a few tips and tricks that can help you get all the achievements with little effort and minimal time.

- You can primary and secondary fire at the same time
- Make sure that auto-target is enabled at the start of every level
- Offense is the greatest defense
Stat Point Allocation
When I started the game I wasn’t sure where to allocate my stat points for leveling. This is one of the only meaningful decisions you can make during the game. I found that doing a little bit of damage early, and then maxing rocket recharge was good. Rockets are by far the most OP weapon in the game. Putting points in defenses before you finish maxing all 3 offensive stats is trolling and you should avoid it unless you absolutely can’t dodge things.
Mechanical Recharge > Weapon Damage > Energy Recharge > Bouclier > Coque
The other decision you get to make is Ship Upgrade Points. These points let you get powerful upgrades, and I found that the top row is by far the strongest. Columns are level locked so basically just go top-down to spend as you can.
