I believe every single player in Brick Rigs had some issues with key bindings. It is not that Lukas was incompetent and couldn’t make the default settings correct, il’s that he added a lot of new options followed by new keys. Apparently he rebound quite much of the old stuff and since he did people sometimes have hard time figuring out how to do different things in the game. And i’m here to show you how this all should work in my opinion, or at least how it appears to be comfortable to me.
Stuff in « Éditeur »
Almost every section is going to face some alternations here. Alors laisse’s just start with the first one.
En fait, these alternations won’t be that major, but still there are some options to be rebound or to be granted another key. Par exemple, add to selection is a thing that should be done in two ways: Changement + LMB et Ctrl + LMB. Just for convenience. But the next button has to be rebound: commit does conflict with chat so in order to fix it just remove Entrer and simply bind it to whatever you never gonna use while constructing. J'ai choisi TMB 2, par exemple. If you have addintional buttons on your mouse you’j'ai de la chance! Si vous ne’t, Bien, only random button might help I suppose. Mais ne’ne t'inquiète pas, the next one, exit editor would be perfect if bound to Retour arrière. Contrairement à exit with vehicle, mdr, I bound it to TMB 1, enfiler’t be mad. De sorte que’c'est tout pour l'instant, if I forgot something here are the screenshots.
Stuff in « Caméra »
Je suppose que’s the most troublesome section? Anyways the first one is speed axis: en haut et speed axis down: just bind it to Page up et Page down respectively so that these don’ça ne dérange pas. Next up are vertical view: en haut et vertical view: vers le bas. Fais-moi confiance, that thing does not require any buttons at all so just suggest deleting them. Same applies to zoom axis: dans et zoom axis: dehors: cancel the existing bindings if there are any (je viens de faire’je ne me souviens pas), tu as gagné’t lose anything. Le pivot camera button is gonna be the MMB (bouton central de la souris) while move camera is meant to remain as is (it should stay bound to RMB). What about speed step: en haut et speed step: vers le bas? je, the one who plays this game for more time than reuploaders live their life, prefer just binding them to MMB up et MMB down because it always was like this. Et don’t be mercurios, every conflict will disappear in the near future. D'ailleurs, toggle projectile camera should be just 5, not Num, être précis. And one of the most contraversial ones is the binding for zoom step: dans et zoom step: dehors: these are gonna be Autre + MMB up et Autre + MMB down respectivement. Stuff in « Personnage »
Un, nothing I suppose? Actually no, as far as I remember accroupissement is not Ctrl in by default. Just do so, d'accord?
Stuff in « Commun »
Laisser but rester RMB ici, s'il te plaît, c'est gagné’ça n'a pas beaucoup d'importance. The next button is HUD visibility bound to ordinaty 7. Oh attends, there is one more in between those: I bound feu à F4 pour une raison quelconque. D'accord, so be it. Now we head towards interactions with items: bind the first one to E, the second one to T and the third one to tu. Some of them may already be this way, but I mentioned it just to make sure. The following sentence is alotted to keys that are supposed to be correct by default: inventaire – Languette, next vehicle (prise: previos vehicle) – F2, scoreboard – Verrouillage des majuscules, spawn vehicle (prise: vehicle editor) – Ô. slow motion (prise: pause game) was bound to nothing but to P, it feels like this button is more accesible, Vous savez. Sorry for binding lancer un article à TMB 2 for another time, these buttons are just way too useful. The rest should be already okay if I’je ne me trompe pas. The screenshot is anyway below.
Stuff in « Free Camera »
You have only four buttons to rebind here! (which is actually 80% of the section, mais quand même) Those two weird option you might not even know about, rotate pawn: droite et rotate pawn: gauche are gonna be 2 et 1 respectivement; booster sera Ctrl et capture vehicle thumbnail should already be Insérer but I doubt.
Stuff in « Inventaire »
It appears to me I have rebound an entire section so doing it quickly:
next explosive (prise: previos explosive) – g;
next slot (prise: previos slot) – 8;
armes: 1, 2 et 3 respectivement.
Stuff in « Véhicule »
Although this section is big there are few alternations: exit vehicle est TMB 1, alors cycle siren (prise: toggle siren) est N (perhaps already this way), hazard lights est K, next fire action (prise: previos fire action) will be ordinary 4, next seat (prise: previos seat) est F1, et operation mode is suddenly Z… Ouais, this one gonna be hard for you to get used to, all due to the bindings in camera. At least try to live with it it. Next up we have pin vehicle: root part (prise: pin vehicle: all parts) bound to 6, remove empty vehicles (prise: remove all vehicles) bound to Pause… Hehe, again all of a sudden. remove vehicle devrait être supprimer par défaut, mais quand même.
