The developer of Final Stardust: Cosmic Nexus has released a new update for the game on April 2, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
CHARACTER UNLOCK
You can now unlock all the elementalists one by one. I also worked on a sort of a dex to display more info about the elementalists. The dex unlock follow the map location unlocking order. So if you can fight an elementalist in the map you can check his info in the menu.
DARK EFFECTS
There were tons of Dark Plano effects missing so I decided to spend more time on those. The reason for this is because level ups give Dark cards now and I don’t want people to get cards they can’t use. Not everything is implemented yet but you should have enough options now.
Someone asked for a way to clear the board, in case you need to replace existing Planos on the field. I added a lot of destroy effects with Dark Planos so that you can have a better control over your field.
All the first 80 (out of 100) Dark Planos have an effect now. Overdrives will come later. The question is how many bugs did I add? 😀
PLANO BALANCING
I decreased the cost of Planos in the highest tiers. The reason for that is because they come way too late to be an actual threat. With battles being fast paced, a lot of times the battle will be over before you can summon one of them. I am even thinking of increasing the MG to 6000 or 8000 since the amount doesn’t really matter in late game (due to how high the EPs are).
ACHIEVEMENTS AND MORE PROGRESSION
The game is getting closer to full release, but there are still one or two important features missing. The first one is the achievements. Many people asked for it. I still have to find a way to fix the issue I had with Steam but I will at least make it functional in-game using the save system.
The other problem is grinding is really hard now because the currency amounts have decreased. The Astral links (Elementalists getting stronger) will provide better rewards and will make farming and getting xp easier (like before). The next patch will implement the first Astral link level (AI level 2). I will also change Mephisto #1’s deck because currently he is a bit hard to beat if you just started a new game.
I noticed a few bugs but nothing game breaking so I will fix those in the next patch. Feel free to mention anything you notice on Discord.
