In light of a lack of clarity surrounding these achievements’ requisitos, here are the requirements explained as clearly as possible with additional advice.

Dry Feet Achievement Guide

Keep your feet dry until the Atlas

From a fresh profile, vencer el juego (by clearing level 5-6: «atlas») without ever stepping in water. Neither waterfalls nor snow count as water; you’ll know you’ve stepped in water if you hear a splash sound. This doesn’t have to be done in a single play session.

The moment you first step in water, the game saves that information to your profile, permanently preventing you from being able to earn the achievement on it. It doesn’t matter if you quit the level immediately after your mistake, or replay the level without making one; you’re screwed, and will have to start the game again from a fresh profile.

Because the game no save information to your profile when you select «Back To Level Selection», seleccionar «Quit To Desktop», or simply close the game with something like Alt+F4, you can safely use any of these options to save yourself from landing in water if you happen to notice in time. Tú voluntad have to replay the level afterwards, but that’s better than replaying the whole game.

It helps to be familiar with all the levels that contain water before attempting the real thing, especially those closest to the end.

These are the levels that contain water:
• 1-1: «calling»
• 1-5: «courtyard»
• 1-6: «discovery»
• 4-1: «air estate»
• 4-3: «conservatory»
• 5-1: «headwaters»
• 5-2: «biblioteca»
• 5-3: «palace»
• 5-4: «basin»
• 5-5: «crossing»

En particular, I recommend practicing levels 5-3: «palace», 5-4: «basin», y 5-5: «crossing». Clearing level 5-4: «basin» without getting your feet wet requires an especially difficult jump near the beginning of the level. This video by 100% Hippo shows how it’s done:

If you’re having trouble finding a safe and consistent route through a level or don’t want to try to, it helps to search for videos of the level online like this one.

Consider attempting «Dry Feet» only after achieving 100% on your first profile (which you have to do anyway for the «100%» logro) to familiarize yourself with all the levels beforehand and to remove any need to find tokens in the «Dry Feet» run itself. It’s also a good idea to try earning «Worthy» in the same run as «Dry Feet» if you don’t have either achievement.

I recommend playing on version 1.2.1, the current version, instead of version 1.1.3a. It has fewer bugs, and to me it seems to have better performance.

There is no bugged method for earning «Dry Feet», so good luck!

How to Switch Versions

You can switch between versions 1.2.1 and 1.1.3a at any time in the game’s properties on Steam. Note that the «Rage Quit» achievement can only be earned on version 1.1.3a, so you can’t complete the game without switching versions.

Savescumming?

It’s possible to trivialize earning these achievements by manipulating save files from outside the game, but this is cheating. Certain achievement-tracking sites and achievement-hunting groups would not allow this. Please use the other methods explained in this guide.
