Nelo – How to Defeat Gorgon Skull

Defeating the Gorgon Skull boss in Chapter 4 can be challenging, but with the right strategy, you can emerge victorious. Here is a guide to help you through the battle.

Preparación

Prior to entering the boss area, there is a weapons section where you can choose your preferred arsenal based on your playstyle. The available options include Machine Guns (MG), Metralletas (SMG), Escopetas, and Rocket Launchers. Opting for rockets or snipers, which may be obtained from enemy drops before entering this section, can be an effective but somewhat cheesy approach.

Before commencing the fight, you will come across six power-ups arranged in three rows of two. These power-ups consist of Aim Buff, Armadura, and Damage Buff. It is crucial to plan when to pick them up strategically.

The Gorgon Skull boss battle comprises two phases: the shooting phase and the enemy-summoning phase.

First Phase

During the first phase, the boss unleashes a barrage of projectiles that are particularly difficult to dodge at close range. It is advisable to patiently wait for opportune moments, such as when the boss is firing larger, more spaced-out projectiles or using a laser beam, to approach and deal damage. Sin embargo, if you prefer close-range combat, make sure to utilize your shield effectively and employ frequent dashes to evade attacks.

Second Phase
