How to past the broken nightmare segment in Act 5
Lost Forest
okay so heads up to whomever this may concern
the Lost Forest segment of the game (Acto 5, right after The Chase) is pretty broken
there’s a glitch where a defeated enemy’s «presence» for lack of a better term will still remain, preventing you from being able to progress if you’ve already killed everything else
listed here are a couple rules to follow to avoid getting stuck and having to get back there through The Chase all over again:
1. NO special attacks. from what i’ve seen, special attacks make the enemies glitch out, so keep it basic for this one.
2. do NOT kill them while they’re transitioning into another form, that’s another way to get them to glitch out and stay stuck there, so avoid spamming the punch/kick buttons and wailing on them.
3. idealmente, you’ll want to take out the zombies before they start doing any shapeshifting, i’d recommend the use of vampirism if you wanna stay in one spot and let ‘er rip.
aparte de eso, there’s also a sweet spot towards the bottom of the screen
it’s a little bit thread-the-needle, but if you can manage to stay in that spot the zombies can’t get close enough to swat at you whereas Max on the other hand can kneecap them all he wants.
