An empty magazine is a useless magazine.
What is Tactical Reloading?
Tactical Reloading is the act of reloading your magazine-fed weapon before it is empty. The technical explanation for real-world weapons is that when a firearm’s magazine is empty, the bolt/slide must be charged to load the first round into the chamber.
This is an example of pulling back the slide on a weapon.
That’s neat, but what is the point?
Halo: Infinite has different animations and reloads speeds depending on if your magazine is partially empty or completely empty. Ao basically you get faster reloads on certain magazine-fed weapons
This only works for the following weapons:
- MA40 Assault Rifle
- BR75 Battle Rifle
- VK78 Commando
- MK50 Sidekick
- CQS48 Bulldog
- S7 Sniper Rifle
- Needler
There are even custom game settings for tactical reloading if you feel like messing with the reload speeds.
