This thing is on, sí? Sorry for the silence but we’ve finally locked down our first real patch for Cookie Cutter! Your patience is hugely appreciated and a big wet kiss to everyone who’s been asking, commenting, and silently waiting for some new goodies to tinker with.
This is only the first round for patching Cookie Cutter! We’re still working on some additional non-specific stuff and things for a future release, but we got this together for you now so you can finish your adventure, start over again, and/or recommend it to your friends, familia, and neighbors down the street.
Here’s what we got cooking for this patch, available now:
- New item tracker has been added to the map! Great for those perfectionists that love to find every little treat hidden in the Megastructure. This required a bit of Cookie Cutter re-engineering to get it right, so you’ll need to start a brand spankin’ new game save to see it in your map.
- Improved performance and updated art! Saving the game is now smooth as butter, and you’ll find some new visual treats like activated fast travel points having a fresh coat of digital paint.
- Four new languages! Players can now experience Cookie Cutter in Portuguese, coreano, Chino simplificado, y ruso. Best if you can read those languages, but a fun, new mysterious way to play if you can’t. Plus some people might enjoy seeing the «F-bomb» dropped in 9 diferentes idiomas.
- New accessibility options and settings! Subtitles can now be resized and colors changed. You can adjust the volume of the voice over dialogue, turn off some visual effects like damage numbers and enemy health bars. We’ve also added some more expected PC-centric options like, y’know, adjustable resolutions and being able to play in a window.
- y si, this is also one of those «stability updates.» Muchos, many weird and random issues reported by the community have been squashed. Keep that feedback coming, we love stomping those bugs!
- And as if that wasn’t enough, we have now released the Cookie Cutter Soundtrack by popular demand, and it’s available now! MEGASTRUCTURE’S MOANINGS
