How to obtain the ‘Chasing the Crown’ achievement on the first Bayinnaung mission «The Burmese Tigers».
Cómo llegar
To obtain this achievement you simply need to kill King Takayutpi (rojo) dentro 5 minutos.
Note that the 5-minute timer presented on the top right side of the screen is not indicative of the real amount of time you have to receive this achievement.I doubt all of the steps below are necessary in order to achieve the goal, sin embargo, this is the method I used:
- Pause the game as soon as you start up the mission.
- Select the blacksmith and queue the following technologies:
Scale Barding Armor
Fletching
Forging - Select your stable and shift queue a set of Cavalry
- Select your archery range and shift queue a set of Archers
- Resume the game and move all starting units forward towards the King’s spawn point camp on the right of your starting area.
- Using the Cavalry Archers start kiting and killing infantry as you simultaneously use your Monk to convert the first Battle Elephant.
- Gather your newly spawned units and wait for the Monk’s conversion meter to cooldown.
- Once the Monk is ready to convert again, convert the next Battle Elephant.
- Re-select all your units again and move diagonally across the enemy camp leaving a gap between your army and King Takayutpi.
- Once he begins to flee right click him immediately and your units (especially the chunky elephants) should block him slightly as they nuke him down.
