Einführung

Ever find yourself wondering which attachments you should select for your new long gun or pistol? Then this guide is for you! I will teach everyone how to select their perfect attachments for different scenarios.

Attachment Uses and Effects

This part will explain what each attachment does to your rifle or pistol.

Vertikaler Griff – Decreases vertical recoil

Angled Grip – Decreases horizontal recoil

Scopes – Higher magnification + Reticle

Sights – Reticle

Suppressoren – Versteckt das Mündungsfeuer + tracers & reduces the sound of gunshots

Laser – Adds a laser that can be used as a secondary aim

Taschenlampe – Lights up dark areas to a certain distance

Canted Red Dot Sight – Adds another secondary aim tilted to the right

This part will explain the exact stat changes when used on a rifle or pistol. (Any not mentioned do not have an exact given stat change, and you may refer to the previous part of this section.)

Sniper scope – 8x magnification & 100m zeroing distance

Acog scope – 4x magnification & 75m zeroing distance

Red dot sight – No magnification, but more precise reticle

Holographic sight – No magnification and wider reticle

Kitting Up Your Rifle

Choosing the correct grip to place on your rifle is actually quite simple, you just have to know how to do it.

An easy way to remember which grip reduces which type of recoil is as simple as remembering that vertical grip has better vertical recoil control.

(d.h. angled grip helps with horizontal recoil & vertical grip helps with vertical recoil.)

All you have to do is find out what kind of recoil patterns your rifle has and decide whether it has worse horizontal, or vertical recoil.

(Hinweis: Good at controlling vertical recoil? Try swapping to the angled grip, because vertical recoil can be controlled, unlike horizontal recoil)

An example of a rifle that is better with the angled grip is the M4.

image credit: @yellowhat on youtubeWie Sie sehen können, the angled grip is in my opinion the best grip for the M4, as the M4 has slight better recoil with the angled grip than the vertical grip.

Choosing the correct sight and/or scope is even easier than deciding the best grip for a rifle/pistol.

It is as simple as seeing what kind of situations you get into on the map you are on.

Zum Beispiel, on CQB maps, you most likely will not need a sniper scope on your rifle. Auf der anderen Seite, on maps that have both CQB and long range map, you might use a canted red dot sight AND a scope (ACOG or sniper scope). With a canted sight or laser, you can easily swap from long range combat to close range combat in the matter of seconds.

Wie bereits erwähnt, a laser could also be used as a substitute to a canted sight. A flashlight is self explanatory, use it if you are on a dark map.
