This guide will show you how to unlock and get the achievement called True Love Found in Cult of the Lamb. This guide is considered as one of the most hard-to-obtain achievement in the game.
Getting Aym and Baal to Join the Cult
During your confrontation with the “One Who Waits,” you come across Aym and Baal. The lore surrounding these characters unfolds as the story advances. To add them to your cult, you must offer God tears to an NPC god (you can give them any name; I chose Twatt), and in return, you receive a necklace. These necklaces come in two varieties: Light necklace and Dark necklace.
The wheel in the game operates randomly, so reaching Purgatory might require multiple visits or having many followers worship at your shrine. This process can take some time.
After obtaining both the Dark and Light necklaces, it is recommended to equip them on a less significant follower, someone whose outcome doesn’t matter much. One necklace is shaped like a sun, while the other resembles a moon.
Once a necklace is placed on a follower, go to your shrine and go to the rituals section. Perform a sacrifice with that follower. After the sacrifice, one of the brothers will take control of that follower, depending on the necklace.
Repeat the same process with another follower, and you will then have both of them in follower form.
Turning Them into Demons
The following step is simple, but it’s essential to confirm you have the demon summoning circle and that it’s upgraded to the highest level. When prepared, choose Aym and Baal as demons, allowing them to become part of your cause.
Reunion
After Aym and Baal have undergone the transformation into demons, pick any dungeon and explore until you find the shopkeeper. The game will provide guidance if you’re uncertain about the correct path. Upon reaching the shopkeeper, you’ll unveil some delightful lore, bringing a heartwarming conclusion to this story.
Rest assured, you will encounter them again as promised.
