The Hero of Kendrickstone – Loyalty-Related Achievements and More

This guide contains multiple playthroughs to get the loyalty achievements (Honor and Steel, Coin and Shadow, and Wisdom and Fire). أيضًا, there is a playthrough in order to get the Self-Taught achievement. The only achievements that won’t be covered here are the Best Solution, Black Clad, الشر الفوضوي, Starting Wealth, and Lawful Good achievements, as other guides detail how to obtain them. In regards to the Phat Lute, Fistfighting Minigame, and Hopeless Romantic achievements, أنا’ll make a separate section on how to obtain them.

First Playthrough

This playthrough will take us on the rogue path, serving under William of Hallowford.

Chapter One

I’ll use my thieving skills to strike from the shadows.

I don’t want to serve anyone! I’ll find an inn to stay at.

I run and try to lose them in the streets.

I ask where I might find a good inn.

“Why can’t the Knights of Kendrickstone handle it?”

Sneak into the fortress forge and steal a piece of armor.
I go after the razorclaw.
“I’ll fight with you.”

Chapter Five

Look around Lord Berwick’s estate for another way in.
I go through the postern gate.
I search for the chalice.
The chalice is my first priority.
I find a way to sneak past Lord Berwick’s guards.
“I want the chalice.”

Chapter Six

“Why would they do that?”
“What is this research anyway?”
“What do you need me to do?”
“I’ll go right away.”
I’ll see what the market has to offer.
I buy the potion.
I move forward carefully and investigate.

Second Playthrough

This playthrough will take us on the no mentor path, effectively obtaining the self-taught achievement.

Chapter One

A bard’s trickery is my weapon. I’ll fast-talk him to his doom.

Chapter Four

I roam the taverns, looking for attractive companionship.

“Is there a reward?”
“Why can’t the Knights of Kendrickstone handle it?”
I think I will do some shopping.

“Are you sure the beast is a razorclaw?”
“How should I fight a razorclaw?”
“Is it true that you were once an adventurer?”

I ask how to get to the keep.

I immediately step out and confront Lord Berwick openly.
I bluff Lord Berwick and his guards into surrendering.
“I want the chalice.”

Other Achievements

For the Phat Lute achievement, I had my character start off as a bard and then have them spend their free time playing their lute in taverns for extra coins. This achievement should unlock, regardless of the mentor.

As for the Fistfighting Minigame achievement, have your character start off as a warrior and then choose to have their free time spent fighting others for coin.

أخيراً, for the Hopeless Romantic achievement, have your character start off as a bard and then have them spend their free time pursuing romance. لكن, make sure that you choose the option along the lines of long-term commitment and such. Keep choosing that option and the achievement should unlock. (It took me a while to figure this one out since there were options where you can choose something more short-term.)
