House of Caravan – 5 Minutes Speedrun Walkthrough

How to finish the game FAST without solving most of the puzzles. Note that this guide is for experienced users!

This guide is for people who don’t have time to spend several hours on one game but still wanted to finish the game and see the ending. Besides most of the plot is answered by the notes scattered near the end and after finishing the game.

ملحوظة: This guide might be frustrating for beginner players so I would recommend this to more experienced users in games overall!

If you still want to proceed make sure you use convenient button placement for crouch because the default binding is under C which is not very comfortable (at least for me). Another thing is that this game requires to use of jump and crouch techniques a lot which later is gonna be referred to as the jumping-crouch technique. It’s quite easy if you get the hang of it, because basically it’s all about pressing crouch button right after jumping, however in most cases I found out that simply holding the crouch and then jumping is enough. And one more thing, you’ve got to be persistent about it, because most of the time single jump is not enough, so you’ve got to jump one time after another from a different angles to reach the desired point.

Getting outside the first room

You start the game in a small room. (1) Turn around and jump on the table with a lamp on it, (2) then try getting on top of the wardrobe (It might take several tries or more but be persistent and you can make it). (3) When you are in the wardrobe try jumping-crouch on the wall, so you can clip through the ceiling. After that jump straight into the corridor in front, but watch out to not fall off the map.

ملحوظة: This way isn’t much slower than finding the key if you already know where it is, but if done correctly it can be slightly faster than picking up the item (not tested).

Getting the flashlight (خياري)

عند هذه النقطة, you can grab the flashlight which might come in handy later, because the game is very dark. Albeit you don’t have to, but I strongly recommend doing so. If you want to take the flashlight read below, if not skip to the next section Way to Pray Room.

When you are in the corridor انعطف يمينا and go behind the corner, then follow the path.

Go straight ahead until you stumble across the small cabinet to the right with a flashlight on it – take it with you and now backtrack the other way until you reach stairs إلى اليمين – go below.

Way to Pray Room

After you went down the stairs, you had to go to pray room which is on the right. But to do so you don’t have a key, it doesn’t matter – from where you entered go to the dining room to the left instead.

Grab the chairs and go outside the room. You’ve got to stack a few of them up in the corner next to the prayer room.

5 أو 6 chairs should be enough to reach the ceiling. Try stacking them in the corner in a way that you can jump on them easily. Making a pyramid or stairs kind of shape is a great way to go.

Try jumping on top of them and getting on the wall by clipping through the ceiling in a way that you can see the room next door.

الآن jump inside that room but do not fall outside the map.

Inside the Prayer Room

First thing you wanna do is go down the stairs ahead of you.

You now reached the cellar area. Solve the puzzles on the wall إلى اليسار (they are pretty straight forward so I happen to not make a tutorial of this). الآن push the lever on wall and get behind the metal grates.

You will find a lot of coffins inside, now open first to the right (the one that’s written “Amanda Caravan”) and grab the keys from the necklace. Make your way back through the stairs to the upper floor.

There is no way to get outside of this room because you need a specific key, which you don’t have. There is no furniture either, are we stuck? لا. There is a tricky way to get out from here…

Look for the books. Grab a few of them and try to stack them up on the candle which sits on a small cabinet next to the door entrance. You don’t have to place them exactly like on the picture but you get the idea. This is the most tricky part in the game so don’t give up so easily if you made it so far.

Jump on the books you’ve piled up and try reaching the ceiling with the jumping-crouch technique. Do it multiple times until you finally make your way on top of the wall. Note that if the books are placed too low, you might now be able to reach the ceiling. So try to make them at least high enough like in the picture.

Now be careful because you can fall off easily here. So I recommend saving the game at this point. Position yourself in a way so you can see the pillar in front of you. Try jumping in this direction so you can walk on top of the vertical wall (the one between the pillar and prayer room). You should be able to jump inside the main corridor now.

You are now inside the main corridor. Open the inventory with a tab key. Click on keys and close the inventory.

Use the keys on the front door and listen to the ending.

Finished! Now you know what happened in the House of Caravan and you saved some extra time by skipping through most of the game!
